My name is Julie Ailshie. I have been teaching in the Alcoa school system for 25+ years!
Currently, I am the reading and math interventionist for Alcoa Middle students, which means I teach lessons and provide practice opportunities for students who have academic gaps. My students are challenged every day to dig deep and master skills that will help them continue to be even more successful with their general ed. classwork. I organize and head up the RTI (Response to Intervention) program and am also the building testing coordinator for AMS.
During our time away from AMS due to COVID 19, please email me if I can support you in any way with your teacher assigned lessons or anything else you might need. Email: email@example.com
MARCH 30- APRIL 3 - Get up, eat breakfast, go to all your "classes" everyday & do your work, exercise, stay 6 ft away from people, take care!
APRIL 6- MAY 8 -
*If you are a READING intervention student, please do all the activities your teachers ask you to do.
*In addition, I will be contacting you about a Reading Plus Contest!
*If you are a MATH intervention student, please use iReady to review and learn skills... and remember, you can't learn from the lesson if you don't really listen!!! Be attentive and pass those quizzes!!!
