Genre Project Part 2 - Organizing your Research

With your partner, compare your findings. Identify what information you collected that is the same & what is different. Distinguish what information you will include in your presentation.
Create a joint Google slide presentation, including:
Slide 1 - an introduction slide, with the name of your genre & names of the people in your group
Slide 2 - Information on your genre (genre name, where and when it originated, a little about the history of your genre, any interesting facts about your genre)
Slide 3 - a table breaking down the instruments, lyrics/voices, and culture of the genre
Slide 4 - Pictures of famous musicians from your genre (include at least 5)
Slide 5 - Links/videos of songs from your genre (include at least 4)
Review your work - check for spelling errors; ensure words used in the slides are easily read when in presentation mode; embed song examples in appropriate slides.
Extra Credit: Create an assessment over your genre. Include 5 questions to check student understanding of what you are teaching (can include questions on instruments, lyrics/voices, culture, musicians, songs, and anything else you see as important to ask)
