Principal's Message

Hello Alcoa Middle School Students and Families,

 

I am excited to return to my alma mater and serve as principal of Alcoa Middle School. 

 

Throughout my educational career, I have worked in three different schools before returning to Alcoa. I began my career teaching elementary school in Knox County. After one year, I returned to Blount County and began an amazing journey at Carpenters Middle School. While there I served as an English teacher, an assistant principal for three years, and head principal for two years before accepting the principal position at Alcoa Middle School. 

 

Alcoa City Schools is stepped in academic and athletic excellence. Being a 2007 graduate of Alcoa High School, I am excited to bring my experience, passion for student growth, love for this city, and pride of being a Tornado to Alcoa Middle School. 

 

Thank you for your continued support of Alcoa Middle School. It is an honor to work in the best school system in the state of Tennessee. I look forward to working alongside our students, families, and community members to continue achieving excellence throughout the halls of Alcoa Middle School each day.
