Due:
Compose an original song/composition
I will compose an original song. It will need to include:
The length of the song should be at least (minimum) 48 measures
An introduction (introduce the listener to the composition); usually 2-4 measures long
Transition to a distinguishable middle
A coda (an ending; able to express why the song stops the way it does)
Minimum 5-6 instruments/loops/sounds (balance with a variety of instruments - they do not have to be used throughout the whole song)
At least 1 fx effect on one loop within the song
A cohesive sound – from start to finish, the song “makes sense”
NOTICE: We are working on this single assignment for several class periods. It is not due today, so do NOT try to finish it in one class period.
I will polish my song before marking my assignment as "done." Ms. Egan MUST check my work before submitting
