The 12 Bar Blues should feel ORIGINAL to you! Use the template attached to the assignment & remember to include the following components:
3 lines of text (first 2 lines are the same; 3rd line is the “punchline” of your story)
Same ending word at the end of lines 1 & 2 with a word that rhymes with it at the end of line 3 (needs to make sense)
Slide visuals that enhance the telling of your 12 Bar Blues
We will perform these in class & determine who wrote each one & vote for our favorite, so make it count!

You will use 1 of the following slides to begin learning about the music of another culture. You will need to use the paper worksheet to follow along (given to you by Mrs. Egan). The slides provide information you will record on the worksheet. They also provide videos with song and sound examples. Make sure you listen to each one.
