Tuesday, May 12th-1:00-3:00 PM 7th Grade Drive-Thru Checkout

Wednesday, May 13th-9:00-11:00 AM 8th Grade Drive-Thru Checkout

Wednesday, May 13th-1:00-3:00 PM Any Grade Makeup Drive-Thru Checkout

*If any student or family cannot participate during their designated drive-thru checkout time, they may visit the school office anytime on May 14th or 15th. *

Directions: Students/Parents will enter AMS from the front via Faraday Street. Drive by the front of the school in the parking lot and stop at the awning in the rear of the school. At this time, teachers and school personnel will approach your vehicle and begin collecting the necessary checkout items. You will not need to get out of your car. After you have received confirmation, cars will exit through Alcoa Intermediate School and down the hill toward the Springbrook Pool.

Items to be collected:

Library books

Textbooks

School calculators or other school property

Chromebook

Chromebook Charger

Chromebook Bag

Fees and fines

*If the Chromebook, Chromebook Charger, or Chromebook bag are not returned during checkout, the student will be assessed a fee for the missing equipment. All other fees (library books, textbooks, etc.) will be assessed when the student returns to school for the 20-21 school year.*

Locker cleanout will occur in July as we return for the new school year. The school district will designate a date for all ACS students to return to their old school for a ‘closure’ day. Students will return to their old school for a day to collect yearbooks, pay fees, cleanout lockers, and meet with their teachers one final time before moving on to the next grade level.

*If students have personal items/valuables that they need for summer, we will ask you to park after completing the drive-thru drop off. Students will then be escorted into the building to retrieve items.*

Please let us know if you have any questions. The AMS front office is open again from 9:00 AM-2:00 PM (M-F).

Thank you,

Dr. Porter
