Full Time Learning

As we make this shift back to full time, it is essential to note that we will continue to follow safety protocols related to COVID-19. We will continue to wear masks on campus, social distance whenever possible, and sanitize our facility daily. Please encourage your student to follow these safety protocols and help keep our school open and in full-time status for the remainder of the school year. ACS will also continue with a contact tracing protocol for all faculty, staff, and students for the rest of this school year.
Over the next twelve weeks, Alcoa Middle School will review and continue to teach all content standards designated for this school year. We will begin preparing for the TNReady assessment, which will be administered in late April and early May. We will identify learning gaps for all students and provide remediation opportunities to regain ELA and Math skills. It will be critically important for students to be present at school daily, actively engage in the classroom, and complete all assigned work over the next several weeks.
This school year has been challenging for the Alcoa City Schools community. However, together we will overcome this challenge and move forward with the education of our students. Please let us know if you need anything as we return to school!
Note: All drop-off and pick-up areas and times will remain the same for all grades. Please be patient as we settle back into a more condensed traffic pattern.
Go Tornadoes!
