Welcome! My name is Jennifer Price and I am so excited to be serving my Alcoa community in 6th grade science. This is my 18th year teaching science and my second at Alcoa Middle School. My husband is Alcoa Intermediate teacher, Matt Price, with whom I have two amazing daughters. Yvie will be in 8th grade and Allie in 4th. To round out our family we have a golden retriever, an orange tabby cat and a calico cat.
My favorite past time is curling up with a good book, my cats and a cup of coffee. But I also love to craft, travel and experience live performances.
Before coming to Alcoa I taught at Heritage Middle for 16 years and served
as Science Department Chair the last two. And if I can remember back that far, I did my student teaching at Alcoa Elementary. I am thrilled to be back in the Alcoa community both professionally and personally.
