Faculty Bio
Mr. Zachary Alegria is the Band Director at Alcoa Middle School as well as the Assistant Band Director at Alcoa High School. Mr. Alegria is from Gallatin, TN and went to Station Camp High School. Mr. Alegria is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University and a student of Dr. Eric J. Willie. Mr. Alegria's 12 years of professional band directing experience ranges across all levels and areas of the state of TN.
Mr. Alegria is currently the East TN Representative for the Percussive Arts Society Tennessee Chapter as well as the Percussion Class Representative for the East Tennessee Performing Arts Association (ETPAA). He is married to his lovely wife, Dakota Guidry-Alegria, and they have two corgis (Gimli and Legolas) as well as their cat (Yoshi).
Mr. Alegria is excited to be a part of the Alcoa band family. Go Tornadoes!
