This site is designed to keep students and families informed about what’s happening in our English Language Arts class throughout the school year. Here, you’ll find helpful resources, weekly updates, important dates, and information about assignments and classroom expectations.

I am excited to work with your child this year as they continue developing their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. Sixth grade is a pivotal year in middle school, and my goal is to create a safe, engaging environment where students feel encouraged to explore ideas, express themselves, and grow both academically and personally.

In our class, students will read a wide range of texts, respond to literature in writing and discussion, and build confidence as communicators. I believe in fostering a positive and respectful classroom community where every student is supported and challenged. I also value strong communication between school and home, and I’m always happy to partner with families to help each student succeed.
