My name is Carrie Carico. I graduated from Alcoa High School in 2007 and attended Tennessee Wesleyan University until 2011. I earned my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with an emphasis in Special Education in 2014. I taught multiple subjects and grades at Heritage Middle for 9 years, including 6th-grade science, 8th-grade science, and special education. I have now taught all 3 grades of science at AMS.
I have coached basketball and volleyball for many years, and am now the AMS head volleyball coach. I am a mom to a sweet baby girl named Nora! I love to spend time with her, my husband Josh, and our dog & cat.
