My teaching career began in the fall of 2000 at Maury Middle School in Dandridge, TN where I taught 7th & 8th Grade Social Studies. I moved to the Sevier Co. School system in 2001 to teach 5th grade at Sevierville Intermediate School for 6 years. After getting my Master's in Technology, I moved to Pi Beta Phi Elementary School in Gatlinburg, TN where I was taught technology & was the school's technology coordinator for 14 years. Big changes took place in 2021, I moved to Alcoa Middle School to teach 8th-grade math and to manage all technology issues within the building. In 2023-2024 I became the AMS building tech coordinator. It's been a joy to teach at AMS and I love being an Alcoa Tornado!
Personally, I live in Blount Co. with my husband, Ben. We have three children; Caleb, Makenzie & Kadie. Our beautiful daughters keep us busy with 🏀 basketball,👟 track & 🥎 softball. Makenzie is a 2023 graduate of AHS and is attending the University of Virginia - Wise where she plays basketball and is working towards a Physical Therapy degree & business degree. Kadie is an 8th graders at AMS. Go Lady T's!🌪 We also have 1 dog (Scooby) and two cats (Teeko & Kalie).
