Hello! I'm so excited to be teaching 8th-grade math here at Alcoa Middle School. It’s a privilege to be part of such a wonderful school community, and I can’t wait for the amazing year ahead with our students.

I’m originally from Greenback, Tennessee — yes, it's a small town, but it's full of heart! Aside from spending 13 years in Loudon, I’ve lived in Blount County ever since marrying my incredible husband 33 years ago. We have two sons who make us very proud. Our oldest and his sweet wife serve as worship leaders at their church. He has a passion for woodworking and creates creates beautiful custom pieces. We recently welcomed our one-year-old bundle of joy granddaughter Emma, who is full of energy and sass!  Our youngest son is currently serving in the Army National Guard. He is also a talented musician who writing music and playing guitar. My husband has served as a pastor for the past 21 years and is currently leading a church right here in Blount County.

As for me, I enjoy playing the piano, decorating our home, and spending quality time with family and friends. My husband and I love hiking and kyaking together, and I’m a huge fan of UT football — Go Vols! Of course, I’m also a big supporter of our Alcoa Tornadoes!
